Reynolds Announces Early Success Signing GM IDMS Dealers;

One-third through its customer base, Reynolds reports over 90 percent success rate

DAYTON, OHIO – July 8, 2008 – Reynolds and Reynolds announced today that the company has already worked through slightly more than one-third of its GM IDMS customer base, signing more than 90 percent to a Reynolds contract. Thus far, the few customers who have chosen not to renew their contracts directly with Reynolds are primarily smaller, single point dealers.

"Obviously, we’re pleased with these initial results," commented Ron Lamb, vice president of Sales for Reynolds, "especially since there still seems to be a good deal of misinformation in the market. Dealers do have a clear choice to remain on the Reynolds ERA? dealership management system with no disruption to the dealership’s business or to how dealership personnel use the system. Especially for the larger organizations, dealers are recognizing they have the best DMS and CRM solution already installed today, delivering the best return on their investment, with the best partner for their business."

Lamb indicated the company is aggressively working to enroll the remaining Reynolds GM IDMS customers.

"We are optimistic that we will conclude this initiative with a high degree of success overall and that the majority of Reynolds GM IDMS customers will choose to continue operating smoothly on ERA and Contact Management without disruption or distraction. After all, ERA is the most widely accepted and used DMS in North American dealerships, including GM dealerships."

Reynolds, along with all other dealer services providers, continues to have full access to GM technical specifications needed in order to develop new products and solutions for GM dealers. Most recently, Reynolds has completed integration development between ERA and the GM Parts Workbench Web services and has been approved by GM to begin pilot testing the application.
