Position description:

American Guardian Warranty Services, Inc. (AGWS), an affiliate of Reynolds and Reynolds, is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for a full range of licensing and compliance duties including completing, filing, and maintaining a variety of company licenses. Duties include maintaining accuracy and completeness of information for eligibility and qualification for licensure and form filing. Establishes relationships and maintains correspondence with regulators. Supports new licensing projects, initiatives to comply with regulatory requirements, and other duties as requested. Maintains databases, files, and spreadsheets.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proofreading and editing expertise.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar and spelling.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a high volume and fast paced environment with competing urgent assignments.
  • Must maintain confidentiality, and exercise discretion and good judgment.
  • Intermediate MS Office Products skills, including Excel, and related software.
  • Read and comprehend regulatory directives and bulletins.
  • Commitment to excellence in work, results oriented, job satisfaction derived from ability to make department process efficiently.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years work experience in a regulated environment preferred.
  • Experience using SERFF preferred.
  • Familiar with insurance and legal terminology preferred.
